Our Story
The farm was started in 2007 by Ed and Nancy Benoit. It began with a small cranberry bog, which has now grown to be over an acre of cranberries that we dry pick. This ensures that we can sell the cranberries to local businesses as well as use them in ingredients in our breads, mustard and baked goods. We also cultivate 750 highbush blueberry bushes, in addition to planting potatoes, beans, onions and garlic. A fully licensed commercial kitchen was completed in 2018, which allows us to make breads, pies, jams, baked beans, cinnamon rolls, whole wheat crackers and granola, selling them at local Farmers Markets and stores. When baking we grind our own wheat just minutes before making the breads and crackers, so it is as fresh as possible. We also steel cut our oats for our Nutty Maple granola.
In 2019 we purchased the Quaker Hill Granola company, continuing to prepare Quaker Hill Maple Cherry Almond and Maple Cashew granola along with our own Nutty Maple. We hand mix the granola in small batches, making sure they are as fresh and delicious as possible before shipping out orders throughout the United States.
